Chris Pappas and Ann Kuster care more about their constituents in D.C. than the voters of New Hampshire.

Concord, NH - NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek released the following statement after Congressman Chris Pappas and Congresswoman Ann Kuster voted to grant Washington, D.C. Statehood:

“Chris Pappas and Ann Kuster need to be reminded that voters in New Hampshire elected them, not lobbyists in D.C.,” said NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek. “Once again Congressman Chris Pappas and Ann Kuster are amplifying the voices of the D.C. swamp while refusing to fight for Granite Staters. Granite Staters deserve to know from Pappas and Kuster: when will the voices of your own constituents matter as equally as the D.C elites? By putting national Democrat leadership ahead of New Hampshire, Chris Pappas and Ann Kuster are showcasing just how out-of-touch with Granite Staters they really are - showing more concerned about supporting Pelosi than defending our own First in the Nation Primary.”
