Concord, NH - Former New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice and current State Representative Robert Lynn (R-Windham) released the following statement regarding members of our Federal Delegation skipping the line and getting vaccinated before Granite State Senior Citizens:

“Elected officials should have to wait like everyone else," said Representative Lynn. "Members of Congress who skipped the line need to apologize to all Granite State seniors citizens who are patiently waiting their turn.”

Earlier today, NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek released the statement below calling out New Hampshire Federal Delegation members for skipping the line for the COVID-19 vaccine:

“Senator Hassan, Senator Shaheen, and Congresswoman Kuster decided to skip the line and get the vaccine before front line health care workers and our most vulnerable populations," said NHGOP Chairman Stephen Stepanek. "This is unconscionable, especially after Senator Hassan & Shaheen stated specifically they would wait their turn for the vaccine like the rest of us. Throughout this pandemic Congress has stumbled, obstructed, and failed the American people. They held up relief for months in order to play their political games, and now they are being rewarded for their partisanship and inaction by getting vaccinated ahead of schedule. COVID-19 vaccines are limited in supply due to their inability to lead in Congress and they had the audacity to put themselves first while leaving New Hampshire behind.”
